I dont think ppl are mad that she's doing pop music but the way she manipulated Rap to enter the Pop arena. Being the first female rapper in a long time with Buzz i think people just disappointed she didnt carry the torch like most wanted and hoped for. TBH i could careless if she did Pop because i have no problem with an occasional Pop record but at least be good at what you do.

Example: Drake makes POP records but he knows how to construct an album and it seems effortless. Take Care (song) is prime example he found a way to structure his album where he can have Under Ground Kings and Lord Knows on the same album as Take Care and it happened without a glitch. Thats how u execute a Pop record.

I hadda ear open for Nicki based on her "5 Star Chick" verse. When she dropped bolded I really didnt have high hopes for the broad. She's nice for a feature here n there. But on her own, shes ass 95% of the time.

she used hip-hop to the point where she didn't really need to do it anymore, and walked right into pop

where she can be at the level where she wanted to be and it worked wonders for her...

As a hetero male all i can say is when it comes to Nicki, what ive seen dont make me think no thoughts of nothing negative. Very nice.
