unless Dexter is tryin to avoid gettin exposed as the bay harbour butcher. he needs some one to chase. him killin bad guys is kinda the point of the show.

But check this out, this is the last season of the show and it seems like a regular season with a regular villain who could've shown up at any time in any season before this. There is absolutely nothing about this season that makes you say "Finally! This is what we've all been waiting for and what the show has been building to". There are only 3 episodes left and we still have very little tension and no danger of Dexter being found out or having to pay for what he's done like we had in season 2 or when LaGuerta figured him out last season. Maybe someone close to him might die like Deb or Harrison, but I doubt it will mean as much as when he found Rita in the tub.

-Fam has become a simp who makes stupid decisions and only killed 2 people this entire season.

-The Brain Surgeon is nothing special, unneeded and unnecessary to the final season of the show.

-Miami Metro is still completely clueless as to who Dexter really is and most likely will never find out.

Shittiest final season ever. Its really sad. Remove this from that "All Time Best Written Shows" list, please. The worst crime a show can commit is to be BORING and this is BORING AS FUCK.

i still think they shouldve saved laguertas death for the final season. unless dexter or deb is forced to kill someone else from the miami pd, its not gonna have the same impact as last season did.

With all this Deb going back to the force or not shit, I think the big offing point is going to be a do-over for her. It'll probably come down to capping Dexter or Quinn or Batista, and to show she's grown past him, she'll kill Dexter or at least shoot him this time.

It'll probably be a "He's dead" ending for the characters to move on with their lives but a "He's alive" ending to the viewers with some kind of campy-ass montage of all his kill rooms with a voice over--Debra more than likely eulogizing him or reflecting on him to sell the "he's dead" angle to the viewer--before a camera shot following a guy walking down a dark alley that we'll assume is Dexter until he suddenly falls. Cue Mike C. Hall stepping out of the shadows and smirking into the camera with a syringe cap in his mouth before the credits roll.

Yo, spoilers man, c'mon.

lol but seriously it'll either be that or "Deb really shot Dex and this season was all a dreeeeeeeam!" smh

"From the very beginning, when I first started developing the pilot, I always knew it would be a seven-year arc for this series. I feel easily that we can be an eight-year show, but I never want it to get old and stale. I want us to go out on a high and everybody on the show is determined to keep the level of it up to the very end. It’s always wise to know when it’s time to leave the stage before you’re asked to leave the stage."

- Executive Producer Sara Colleton

Tonight's episode... bruh... come on. Smack's dumb-ass business practices/Math's monkey-ass just fucked up Summer Madness 3, and now this fuckery. They're going to jack Heat and bastardize it to a plane getaway? And the best tipping point they could come up with is the dumb-ass kid?

Fuck outta here.

I thought the writers would begin to turn the season around last nite, but no. That shit sucked. Damn shame. I dont even feel like watchin the rest.

I have been trying to find spoilers so I don't need to watch the finale.

Lmao Harrison is the shittiest child actor of all time

Dr Vogel ain't bout that living

her son isn't a worthy enemy to me

I love Dex's bitch

Quinn will die like all Deb's other men

After last night, I don't see how any of the main characters will come out alive or not in jail. Smh @ Dexter's parenting. How you gonna be a serial killer who feels no emotion yet have a bad ass child who won't listen?

They waited too long to introduce Vogel's son, and once he's introduced, he's still a background entity.

Basically, they spent most of the episodes building towards finding out who the Brain Surgeon Killer is and ignored him once he was exposed in favor of this pointless Hannah plot.

This makes all the "Who is it?" episodes almost pointless. You could cut off every episode before Vogel's son is official, reveal everything that happened in those episodes in dialogue, and lose nothing. How does a TEAM of writers not see that is horrible television?

Wack stories.

They should introduced Vogal last season, then allowed it to lead to it's climax this season.

I felt nothing when Vogal was killed. I was like, "oh, um okay.."

Allowing Vogal in last season and shadowing her as his "mother figure" would've made for a more better attachment to her for us viewers.

This last season is horrible.

Last season wouldve made for a better finale. With Dex running off.

smh..

So much disappointment.

I truly hope Batista comes into play in the end. and homie gets revenge on Dex for settin up Doakes and causin Laguertas death.

There's been a revolving door of writers on this show. I think that everyone who wrote the first season is no longer working on this show.
