Tell me of another place in the country where you can get a well built brick home of that size and amenities in a nice ass quiet neighborhood in a major metro for that cheap.

I used to live around the way from that house, used to be like "one day...", and if I lived in Detroit right now I'd make an offer on that house and would be moving in by the end of the summer.

This is what pisses me off about niggas. You literally have MANSION (8,200 sq. classifies as a mansion,) but niggas aren't trying to move on that. Instead of moving out with the whites, why aren't upperly mobile professional blacks trying to start upper middle class or upper class neighborhoods in Detroit. It seems that the shit will only be desirable once white people start fucking with it, then niggas will complain about shit being expensive and gentrification. Niggas. 8200 sq ft. 8 bathrooms and a pool? Nigga that's a bathroom for every room in the house.

In New York, that's would easily be a multi-million dollar home. Tell they're asking $15 million for this in Park Slope Brooklyn and this shit is like 6,000 sq feet.

Nigga really need to stop complain, get their heads in the game and take advantage of opportunities, and Detroit is one hell of an opportunity.

There's some good paying white collar jobs out that way. That's a large part of the problem with Tha D. You had several generations of people that came up supporting their families on blue collar jobs and ONLY blue collar jobs. Now that those jobs have dwindled and white collar professions are the majority, you have an entire city of people that are ill prepared for that transition. The mindset that you could always just get a job at the plant is still pervasive in Tha D, so when you come to a point where "the plant" is no longer a viable option you wind up with people lost trying to figure out where that next job is coming from. Meanwhile, those that took advantage of the resources available in and around Detroit to get a degree or become learned in a white collar skill (i.e. IT) are flourishing out there.
