Hollywood embellishes movies for cinematic effect thats the whole point.

The fact the you a peeved at the fact the Krauss is not a real character makes no sense or they blur out the other cops it could be quite possible the studio did not want to be sued or misrepresent the characters. They even wrote at the end of the movie that some events were created by different perspectives as to respect all the peole involved in said incident.

This movie's point is about relevance today , police brutality, protest and racism and they did make that point very well.

Wasnt "peeved" at his character being made up i was just pointing it out

Its ok u liked the movie more than me

No biggie bruh

The movie was ok. They probably re named it the Algiers or something else. Because the what led up to the riots was filler. Don't know why they even raided the Blind Pig in the 1st place.

Great movie.

Very relevant to whats going on and very important movie for apathetic white people and cop sympathizers to watch. It is a pretty sad flick so brace yourselves.

100% agree

Raiding after hours drinking establishments was routine, but this one was done, not in the back alley but out on the front street for all eyes to see. The community just had enough.

Its also another element that helps to define the relationship between the community and the police force.

And they didn't show it in the movie, but as they came out the police were lined up beating them with clubs..
