Darwyn Cooke who had contributed everything to DC from the excellent New Frontier to Batman: Ego and a revival of Eisner's The Spirit, as well as one of the greatest Catwoman stories ever and the recent Twilight Children has passed away from cancer. He also contributed greatly to the Animated Timm verse shows over the years. This is a major loss to the industry. R.I.P.

Lot of writers and artists are paying tribute by drawing up characters inspired by his art, or sharing his art.
