they're finally getting rid of that stupid ass collar on Supes costume and those dumb lines on Bats chest since the new 52. FUCK YES!

Much more here:http://www.newsarama.com/28573-dc-rebirth-art-gallery.html

That costume is subject to change. That's Jim Lee's redesign which is why it's so drab. Patrick Gleason has one of his own which is much better cause there is color variety and things break up more evenly. What I'm curious about is what happens to New 52 Superman in the next few weeks when he meets the Supermann from 86 - 2011? The Superman in Action Comics and Superman will be the one we grew up with pre-Flashpoint. Not that I'm complaining cause in many ways that will always be my Superman.

The info released yesterday has changed my view big time. The minor issue is Bi weekly's releases and running out room to store them.

I really enjoyed Tomasi and Gleason on Batman & Robin so this'll probably be the first time I consistently read a Superman book in idk how long. I've heard really good things about Tom King and it'll be nice to let somebody other than Snyder cook on Batman. Idk how I feel about David Finch and his constipated character faces though.

cs. I think its very stupid if they give joker an identity. Watch its going to be something stupid like Batman from the future, or his dad from another universe.

This Rebirth thing, is this going to be a continuation of the New 52/DC YOU? or will this be a whole new reboot like the new 52 was? i know everything will go back to issue one except for a couple titles.

Its pretty dope issue 50 is thick af. I got both the variant and regular cover for Green lantern and its almost the size of an Annual.

Woulda mod be able to change this threads title to DC: Rebirth ?

New 52 isn't going anywhere per se. They're basically going to be incorporating a lot of the previous continuity with the existing New 52. It'll be a mixture. But as two posters in here have already pointed out, there's no word on what's happening with New 52 Superman. All of the Rebirth Superman books seem to be starring pre-New 52 Superman, the one with the kid.

I need info on Green Lantern. What's going on with that character? The only DC books I follow are Deathstroke, Constantine and Grayson.

I just jumped in a couple months ago. To my understanding is the Convergence event happened and it left the green lantern corps (Guy Gardner, John Stewart, Bolrogg, etc.) in a different universe and they are all currently trying to find their way back home to the main universe. Everyone thinks Kyle Rayner is dead, but hes just been kidnapped by the Omega Men (awesome book btw) and they are trying to convince kyle to join their team. Hal Jordan is the only remaining green lantern in the main universe and he doesnt even have a ring. No ganthet, no guardians, no nothing. Just some cool gloves and he somehow has the Green/Willpower energy so he is able to fly, constructs, and go into space and all that good stuff.

As far as who he is battling I cant recall at this time, i picked it up at issue 47 and it just released issue 50 recently but i havent read passed 47 yet. Artist on the book is pretty dope at his role though.

Thanks. I think I'm going to jump in at the restart. I got too many questions lol.

Right now is the perfect time. DC is rebooting next month. Issue 50 is the last of a current series, then in May it goes to Issue 1.

Oh okay great. I been wanting to follow GL but didn't know what was going on. After the Superboy vs Ion fiasco I kinda tuned out.
