Interested to see what Coogler can do with a bigger budget, cuz the production value of 'fruitvale' was horrible. Looking forward to this though.

Yeah definitely a makeup job cause apparently

Rocky has cancer and has been undergoing chemo sessions by the time of this movie.

Plus when you see his instagram posts documenting his return to Philly for this movie he looks like he usually does.

Also about the son/grandson thing word has it that it is supposed to be the son. Sly changed it to that himself when he tweaked the script; originally Adonis Creed was the grandson.

This shit is just too much for me, I know you gotta suspend belief when you watch Rocky movies but he had severe brain damage in Rocky V which was in 1990 and then ended up fighting Antonio Tarver 16 years later in Rocky Balboa and now 9 years after that he's supposed to be coherent enough to train another fighter while also battling cancer.

So Rocky has become Mickey. It's great in a way that Mickey was the heart and soul of the original Rocky. And flipping the script to Creed's son....that's a nice change of pace from hollywood.

Those lines at the end though. Nobody motivates like Rocky.

If he dies I will probably legit cry. Rocky has been like everybody's movie uncle for 4 decades now. Shit is gonna have grown men in their feelings for real.
