I can't see myself going out having dinner with them, smiling in his face, seeing her interact with him like a loving wife and seeing him completely unaware of the secret and just looking like all is going well in his world knowing that something this devastating is being kept from him. I would not be able to ever watch him interact with the kid.

I couldn't even be around them.. I would look for reasons to stay away and distance myself as much as possible because that kind of secret would eat at me until I couldn't hold it in.
