if you been raised a kid that isn't yours for 18 years

are you entitled to monetary compensation?
Nah, it's a shell game. If you are in the presence of a kid, you supposed to love it regardless to who's it is. It's that whats in the best interest of the kid stuff. Who cares about your life, dreams, goals, and aspirations, or if you wanted to have a kid when you were X years old, you gotta kid now, so be involved with
that one...whether it's yours or not. As a man, you ain't getting nothing back, lol.
Life is funny tho because as a whole, we only really care until the kid gets about 14 or so, then when they have a mind of their own and can think for themselves, all bets are off. Like animals, if dogs could talk and could put their personal attitude toward their owners on display, people wouldn't want to hear about themselves from no dog. Nobody would own a dog.
The only parallel to this thread would be if a hospital accidentally switched babies from 2 mothers at birth, 1 died, and the other lived.
One woman would think her baby would be dead when it's alive and the other mother be raising a child that wasn't hers. Let say, the hospital found out about the mix up a year after the babies burial but they withheld the information from both mothers because they didn't want to cause further damage.......
now lets say hospitals played the switched at birth shell game happened as much as women play the shell game with fathers....things would be interesting.
