They basically got it right. I knew what they meant before i even read it: they mean who had the "crown" for each year...they just worded it wrong.

They get props b/c they didnt go on revisionist history: Yes, T.I. did have shyt on lock at 1 point...YES, Jeezy was on top when he first dropped, etc.

This list is accurate imo.

I dunno man, even if it is accurate...it seems a little pointless to try to narrow each year down to one person.

I dont know why i'm responding to your faggot ass, but Jay flopped with Best of both worlds, dropped arguably his worst album to date and was crying on the radio after ether, 50 didnt drop til 03 you dumb fuck and Eminem might of been the closest but Eminem show was no where near as good as Gods son, Nas started off the year on top and ended the year on top
