Common is most def in my top 10. People should cop this album and cop Soul Revival too man. It's like the old head making THe Dreamer, The Believer after making a bad album(UMC) and the new younger head making soul music, dropping knowledge too. The Dreamer, The Believer and Soul Revival are albums of 2011.

But Common should be a top 10 cat regularly. His catalog is one of rap's strongest IMO

I usually agree with you, but LL's catalog, Kane's catalog, Jay's catalog, Snoop's catalog, even most of the other cats music out here dont hold up.

People shit on Electric Circus, but I actually liked the album. Nigga did something different and while some of the songs were a little ehhh, it was a solid release. The only wack album he's ever made IMO was the last joint UMC. Common got a couple classic. Most of the people named(Nas, Wu, Pac, Cube, Scarface excluded) havent been as consistent with their music as Common IMO. But to each his own of course.

LL got two. Kane is a beast, and I think he got two as well. Jay got 3 IMO.

I think Common has 3 classics with a possible fourth(Resurrection, BE, and Like Water For Chocolate are all classics for me and all THREE sound totally different). The Dreamer The Believer is a possible fourth classic, but I cant rock with every song on here, so it's like right there for me.

Electric Circus was ight to me. It just reminded me of some Hendrix mixed with Stankonia Outkast type rap. He went off on a couple songs off EC like The Hustle and Aquarius too.

UMC was just...... no words for real lol. And I think Snoop only got ONE classic period but thats just me. Nas probably got the best catalog out of them all, especially considering longevity. Cube was on a roll in the early 90s.... I dont know what happened lol.
