i never really followed cowherd. so dont know much about him.. but goddamn he sound like a clown in this clip.. he said its not the message its the messenger .. he cant hear colin's message because he isnt a popular enough player? or cuz hes acted silly on social media in the past.... and these mafuckas get away with saying this type shit smh

Cowherd is a pretentious asshole...fuck him and his racist ass opinions

I listened to him quite a bit, but i fuck with Lebatard and Bomani more these days. I wouldn't call him racist. Maybe 8 times outta 10 he fall on the right side of most of these issues, sometimes his whiteness does cloud his perspective.

But pretentious? Yeah That's him 100%

Seen this on fb

Protestors riot: These people need to learn how to protest peacefully!! There has to be a better way!!

Protestors sit out during playing of national anthem: This is outrageous! There has to be a better way!!

Protestors sit in at whites only restaurant: I'm outraged that they could be so inconsiderate of people on their lunch hour!! There has to be a better way!

Protestors raise a black fisted glove on medal podium at olympics: The games are about unity, stop trying to divide us!! There has to be a better way!!

Protestors march during rush hour stopping traffic: Gah! Why do they have to do it this way? I'm on my way to work!! There has to be a better way!!

Protestors put hands up in solidarity before St. Louis Rams game: Ugh! Inappropriate! Shut up and play the game!! There has to be a better way!!

Protestors wear t-shirts that read "I can't breathe," before a sporting event: This isn't the platform for that, respect the game. There has to be a better way!!

Protestors make passionate speech on BET: That's reverse racism. All lives matter! There has to be a better way!!

Protestors disrupt political rally: ugh! We're not here to see you speak!

Look, at a certain point, people are going to need to admit to themselves that they're not upset about how black people are protesting, they are upset that black people are protesting.

yeah i know most espn/former espn cats to some degree.. just never really followed him. heard he had some situation with Bomani Jones over some shit cowherd said about John Wall back in the day.. but thats about it...

Cowherd was fucking asshole when it came to John Wall. I never liked dude anyway.

Someone came on his show and actually made him apologize for that shit too...his comments on Sean Taylor when he died were even worse though. Haven't fucked with him since then

95% of executives hate Colin for saying he doesn't want black people getting shot unarmed.

Their not offended by lack of black owners or executives. They make millions off of black men but support them getting murdered. Can received hate mail for dancing while white players danced unbothered that very same week... Yet terrified to take a stance.

Jefferson County sheriff condemns NFL star Kaepernick, says he's now on 'no watch' list

The Jefferson County sheriff has said San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is on his "no watch" list after the football star decided not to stand for the national anthem.

After a week of heated debates surrounding the player's act of protest, Sheriff Oliver "Glenn" Boyer said in a statement on sheriff's department letterhead that he doesn't support the player's "disgusting display."

"To voice his opinion off the field, I have no problem with and it would have been a lot more appropriate and something I could have supported, but to dishonor our National Anthem and those that put their lives on the line to give him the opportunity to play football was out of line," Boyer wrote in the statement, dated Tuesday.

Boyer went on to say that he thinks Kaepernick should trade in his football gear for military armor in order to understand the importance of the nation's song. His letter mentions other players, such as the late Pat Tillman, a football player who left his sports career to join the armed forces after the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. He died in Afghanistan in a friendly fire incident.

The Jefferson County sheriff is among others who seek an apology from the player. But Kaepernick asserts that his expression was an act of freedom of speech, one meant to show solidarity with movements condemning police brutality and supporting civil rights.

Kaepernick is one of a number of professional athletes, including professional basketball players Dwyane Wade and LeBron James, who have used their celebrity to make a statement about contested social issues.

The football star was the target of more criticism on Thursday over a photo showing him wearing socks depicting pigs in police hats. He took to Instagram Thursday in an attempt to explain himself and saying he didn't want the socks to "distract from the real issues."

Kaepernick said he plans to sit during the national anthem again during his team's game against the San Diego Chargers Thursday night, according to a CNN report.

I hope this shit trickles down to the college players and high school players..hell even the kids that play on Saturdays...

How your son or daughter at the age of 5 showing respect to something that treated their great great grand-parents like shit...

Hell how you as a black man or woman showing respect to something of that nature...

Might as well give the rapist/murderer/theft a cookie for doing a good job on the victim

why is in not illegal for a cop to openly state they will not protect and serve every citizen? this proves colin's point and no one says a thing when the cops say stuff like stuff. wtf do u mean he is on a no watch list? nigga ur job is to protect everyone...those that say blue lives matter and those that say fuck the police. the cops shouldn't even be allowed to voice their opinion on this shit.

It's beautiful reading all the Vets going to bat for Kap because I feel the same way but just as many people who are going to bat for him it's a shit load who aren't in the armed forces.

It's great these members who understand and respect what he is doing is actually putting their face and message out there.

I love how the response for colin from those that disagree, isnt, i disagree, and lemme articulate why while showing empathy for why youre frustrated. Its just, get out the country, youre disgracing america, this is vile, im so angry im shaking. Like, what. How mentally unstable is this country. lol

When my mom gets mad at me for not talking to her in like a month plus or more, i dont respond back with, well how about i never talk to you, and im not your son anymore. Why dont you go adopt a new son that will talk to you everyday. I explain myself, apologize, and keep it moving. People aint even trying to communicate with the young brotha.
