It's walking the fence when they say that.

The line should be.

Ok, but the point is his not formulating what he's saying in a way to stand up to over the top internet scrutiny. Just take what he's saying for what it is and stop trying to read some much extra into it. Dude praised Kaep for taking a stand. Leave it at that.

My business partner is a huge Steelers fan, season ticket holder. He condemns Kap cause he feels he has bad character....I had to remind him that he has a framed picture of him and Ben Rothlesberger, along with a signed Jersey.

Only in America can a multi rapist be Hailed and celebrated, whilst someone who is peacefully protesting be condemned.

What did he say in response?

Defended Ben, how he was never proven guilty...usual white tactics.

The good ol "innocent until proven guilty" double standard...

I asked cuz all my white Co-workers and associates have been doing their best not to bring up the kaepernick shit. And I'm not on social media, so I've been walking around with argument ammo and nobody to empty the clip on.

Lmao my white co-workers already know they'll get clapped coming at me with some bullshit about what Kap is doing. I can only have a respectable conversation about politics and race with maybe 2 or 3, the rest are prejudice and scary as hell to show that side around me.

I figured he was a white guy. Not surprised. These are the same people who were more outraged at Vick for some dogs than humans being killed unjustly. Cac logic tells him Kaep who was never even accused of sexual harassment has bad character compared to Ben who was accused multiple times.

Why do they keep saying "Yeah I hear you, but... What's the solution?"

Umm... Stop shooting. Stop hating me because my skin color. It's really quite simple. White obliviousness at its finest

Wow.. We got another contestant on that shuckin and jivin' coon screen...

Not Reverend Ray?!!!! Noooooooooo

I can't watch that one. How bad was it?

Repeating white talking points adding nothing to the discussion except "Honor my flag and troops and 'what are you gonna do about it?' Questions

Watched the full 15 minute video. You niggas disgust me calling ray lewis a coon. He didnt even say anything bad other than his feelings on the flag part. Second time he spoke he brought up that police need to police each other too, and point out the bad cops. Part of what colin is standing up for, which is breaking that blue wall of silence.

The majority of that video is shanon speaking his peace. How you stupid niggas dont step into a crosswalk and not get hit by a bus everyday is beyond me. Youre clearly not mentally here on planet earth.

Seahawks Players May Protest the National Anthem as a Team
http://insider.foxnews.com/2016/09/08/seahawks-players-may-protest-national-anthem-team

Sep 08, 2016 // 2:16pm

The Seattle Seahawks may protest the national anthem as a team before Sunday's opening game, the Seattle Times reported.

The comment from Seattle linebacker Bobby Wagner comes after cornerback Jeremy Lane sat for the national anthem before the team's final preseason game last week.

"It’s going to be a team thing. That’s what the world needs to see. The world needs to see people coming together versus being individuals," said Wagner, adding that he hasn't decided whether he will stand or sit on Sunday, the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

Lane said he stayed seated on the bench in Oakland to show solidarity with 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who sparked a national controversy by refusing to stand for "The Star-Spangled Banner" before the team's preseason games.

Kaepernick said he decided to take action to protest racial inequality and violence by police officers against minorities.

Wagner said the team has discussed the issue and plan to make a decision before the home kickoff against Miami.

Wide receiver Doug Baldwin said Wednesday he's considering joining Lane in protest. Lane has said he plans to sit for the anthem all season.

Baldwin, who took to Twitter last week to defend Lane, said he would "make sure I get all of my ducks in a row before I do so."

The first game of the NFL season is tonight in Denver, a rematch of Super Bowl 50 between the Broncos and Panthers.
