That's one part I'm not looking forward to, but his lyrics and flow make up for it.

Iono... Some of what they were playing in the doc sounded hard... But I've never had a problem with Cole's production either...

I just read an article on HNHH about why a Cole and Kdot collab album wouldn't work. Basically Cole and Kendrick aren't on the same level.

"KDot is Langston Hughes, Cole is Dr. Seuss. And that's not a knock on Cole. Born Sinner and Forest Hills 2014 are both platinum records for very good reason. Plus Dr. Seuss is a damn legend. But to place genius simplicity with sprawling rap virtuosity is a little brutal"

I don't see it that way.

Foh with that analogy, cole is dr seuss 0_o I'd love that debate. Cause cole can match Kendrick easily

Idk what a HNHH is but they're opinion sucks

Hot New Hip Hop

"Im going off like boing on a big ass Boeing"

"Im hot dog, ketchup to me nigga"

"I let you feel like you the shit, but boy you can't out-fart me"

"Young black and gifted, I rap like it's Christmas eve"

That first one is hard, I stand by it

The rest are whatever, Cole ain't a punchline rapper and that's 3 lines 5 projects in

Legendary

Legendary

1. "Going off like boing" is not hard in any way; shape, or form.

2. Cole aint a punchline rapper but he trys to be too often. Hes is very consistant with the cringe bars.

3. All that said im a big fan. As far as the new generation goes i rank him right under Krit & Kendrick... right above Joey... Krizzle dont have the cringe bars Cole has

Edit: forgot about Chance. Chance gets the nod before Cole.

1.Krit

2. Kendrick

3. Chance

4. Cole

5. Joey

IMO

I wouldn't compare Cole to Seuss and to me, Kendrick is more like Ralph Ellison because of his story telling skills. "For Free?" sounds like something straight out of "Invisible Man" and something Ellison would have wrote if he was a rapper.
