We had a big outlet in GA that had this one chain of record stores all around. I mainly seen them in ATL, but I seen one in the AUG too. It's a small chain, but I copped some jewels like Snoop Dogg and Kool n The Gang from them. If I'm not mistaken, Big Oomp the label w DJ Unk started off as a record store.

George's Music Room, on the west side of the Chi, George is the old dude that's always in R-Kelly videos.

I remember going there to get that GRODT and they was asking $18 for it. Went to target on Pulaski st. Got it for 10 and still caught my flight to AZ from midway.

Man I already know. George success is also his downfall. He became bigger than his store and inflated the prices because of the clientele that comes through there and he always with R Kelly, like I say, he the grey haired dude that be in the videos. He expanded a store into Midway Airport. He corporate for real now, can't hate, but that's why his shit to high and people going elsewhere. And I know exactly what Target you went to, the one off of I-55 on the way to Midway Airport

damn Hassan. Nice drops. If and when I do visit these stores in Chicago, I have to look for this rare record I think I told you about.

When I was stationed in Norfolk Virginia, I use to go to DJ's Music & Video on Tidewater Drive. This weed head dude use to work there. He was very informative. Anyway that store was dope. They have so much Hip Hop vinyls. I wonder if it's still open. I also use to buy those Joe Pro Hood porn flicks in that store.

I thought that store might have the record I'm looking for but it didn't.

I've been looking for this record my whole life and won't stop pursuing until I get it.

This was back in 88 when I was seven years old and my dad played this record for me. The vinyl cover had some Marvel Superheroes on it with The Thing of Fantastic 4 & Spider Man taking of most of the cover. The track has some kind of superhero boom bap black exploitation sound to it. iLLest beat I ever heard in my life. I need this record bad and if I have to dig in the crates of these store, so be it.

I remember you asking about that album, I put a bug in my man's Gary ear, ain't heard nothing so I'm gonna have to replant that seed. He got me by a saw, so he should know. We used to spin the Dusty Show on WHPK together, he still on the air tho.

If you ever in the Chi, hit me up homie, it's all good

All those record stores I posted I actually go to. I also hit up re-sale shops like it ain't funny, great shit be in there. I've spent actually 8 hours digging, a full work day lol
