Much respect to the collectors on the IC, especially @king hassan & @tompetrez3. They know a lot. Those are the type dudes that can listen to a rap song and tell you within 10 seconds where it was sampled from. They don't need the internet. One

Actually I can do that. But it's from listening to a lot of songs. I was playing this one day

and another day I was playing this and was like, damn, that's where they got that beat from. Listen to it and you'll here the sample, it's a break. Shit will just jump out at you. I hate these internet sampling dudes, go dig for tha shit

man thats crazy you can find stuff like that....

Question, do you think Earth, Wind, & Fire was part of some Egyptian/ Moorish freemasonry/ iLLuminati stuff? I'm looking at their album covers and it just makes me wonder.

Maybe it's just the weed messing with me but i think they had double meaning in their songs that flew under the radar.

Do you know or heard of any stories about stuff like this? I got to do more research. They was up to something

Nah, never heard of EWF and the Moorish stuff, but maybe it's already in them because it's already in you. They just opened up that 3rd eye and yours got opened too.

I can't wait for the day that somethin wipes out files from computers all over the world. Niggas gonna be mad as fuck while CD owners sit back and laugh.

LMAO.

HDD, nigga.

^But doesn't downloading lower the value of the recording in your mind? I mean, at that point, you can get whatever you want at your will for free instantly. It just makes the experience of listening feel somewhat valueless.

Niggas just anti social nowadays, they'd rather sit at home downloading songs on the CPU instead of being out meeting people, and download quality is shit. I've downloaded some stuff and it was pure shit, I just download my shit straight from the record or cd.

It's Crazy since I've been alive I seen it go from:

Vinyl >>>> Cassette >>>> CD >>>>> MP3/Ditigal

Betemax >>>>> VHS >>>>>> Laser Disc >>>>> DVD >>>>>> Hi Def DVD >>>> Blu Ray

Technology is moving fast. Also I read somewhere that CD is actually still the best quality. I think they won't die out 100% just yet, they will be collector's items in the future. But the fact is CD's are on there way to extinction. But a lot people are driving cars still with CD players in them. You can get an mp3 player adapter now so that issue is solved. But most people will get their music digital for good in the future. Honestly even though I grew on CD, I do agree it's pointless to have 1,000 CD's in the car.

Have you tried to download Lossless? It is very close to CD quality yet compressed. What does being antisocial have to do with not purchasing CD's though. You can as easily sit there and purchase CD's from Amazon or some more obscure website all day. Also, people socialize and discover music through forums like this one. I can see you statement applying to wax only because digging for rare albums is a cultural thing and you can find rare stuff.

Bruh, walking into a music store and flipping through even CD's is a social thing. There's been plenty of times over the decades that I've gone into a store and have cats stop like "Oh, you diggin that? Peep these dudes out over here, they're similar to 'em" or just strike up a convo about music in general. Far to often I started out lookin for new hip hop and end up in an entirely different area of the store thanks to a conversation that started out with "yeah, I'm looking for that new
