Hi Fi Records

This is actually a bar called Reggies Rock Club on the South Side, the projects used to be across the street but they all torn down now. They have all types of hip hop acts here, and they have a roof top bar and the record store is on the second floor

Coppin music at the store was an experience. It was fun rollin a blunt, hot boxin the car with the homies and hittin the record store. Trying to pull a lick and a bitch at the same time.

yall putting a little too much on the expience of buying a tape ... i say hey #1 its cheaper most albums digitally sell @ $10 ... plus im saving gas$$$$ which is a major thing these days with our high gas prices ... and honestly i dont think ive ever ran into a hot chick @ the record store ... altho if i hit up the one in the mall i would run into sometihng before i get back to the car ...... but shiiiiiiiittttttttttt i got 5k+ hoes on facebook .... another 5k on my daily work and liesure time ............. that experience is overated imo lol aggree to disagree ..........................

LOL my dude, depends on what type of store you go to, those big box stores, nah. I've been in the record store plenty of times and it be some fine ass chicks in there, buying albums and you never know what is going to kick off in the store. It's been full fledged parties kick off in there and you never know who you'll meet in there. And like I said previously, you get invited to all types of parties and events because beside the casual crate digger, you got those club dj's that come to cop as well. I know a lot of the record store owners and they always tell me about something, but my old ass can barely stay up past 10:30 lol

Dave's Records on the North side

Goat just cause I spotted the Don Killuminati love that album I got my vinyl in its plastic never gonna use it for no reason

I got 2 cds and a cassette ill use those instead

When I to a record store I leave my debit card at home and bring a certain amount of cash cause I know ill go broke ill buy an album if I already have it just because its a good price

Rather purchase the actual cd's and make my own MP3/AAC files for other devices like my phone because they always wind up sounding much better than what you get off itunes and amazon.

My only gripe with buying cd's is that alot of times nowadays is that the digital version will have extra/bonus tracks that the cd will not.

Not all cd's get deluxe editions released. Even with Jesus Piece like you mentioned, there are 3 different deluxe editions, all with different bonus tracks.

Regular deluxe edition:

14. "I Remember" (featuring Young Jeezy & Future)

15. "Blood Diamonds"

itunes:

16. "Dead People"

Best buy:

16. "Blood of Christ"

17. "Holy Water"

George's Music Room, on the west side of the Chi, George is the old dude that's always in R-Kelly videos.

I remember going there to get that GRODT and they was asking $18 for it. Went to target on Pulaski st. Got it for 10 and still caught my flight to AZ from midway.
