New alternative costumes for Ultra Street Fighter 4 shown for Decapre, Elena, Hugo, Poison & Rolento, free for SFxT save data users

The next set of alternative costumes for Ultra Street Fighter 4's Decapre, Elena, Hugo, Poison and Rolento were shown today in-game.

You might recognize these from Street Fighter X Tekken, and speaking of that game, if you have its save data on your console, these costumes will be available free of charge in USF4.

Unlisted Dhalsim change shows juggle after EX Yoga Flame, Hugo big-damage Clap combos - USF4 footage from console build

Playing to Win took the opportunity to sit down and run a couple of tests using the console build of Ultra Street Fighter 4 over at UFGT10 this past weekend.

The first video we have for you shows what appears to be a new USF4 change made to Dhalsim. Players can now juggle after hitting the opponent with an EX Yoga Flame. This change was not listed on the final Ultra Street Fighter 4 balance change list released by Capcom last week.

We also get a look at some quick Hugo combos performed by CORN|alucarD. These focus on using Hugo's Giant Palm Breaker (clap), and each one deals a nice chunk of damage.

Kazunoko's Yun hits #1 in Ultra Street Fighter 4 arcade, Daigo breaches top 3 with Evil Ryu - current top 10 Japan BP rankings

Kyosuke has updated the Ultra Street Fighter 4 arcade Japanese BP rankings with the latest data, and many players have shifted placings since last we checked.

The current chart shows that Kazunoko's Yun has been putting in a ton of work, and as a result, is now ranked #1 for BP in the Japanese arcade version of USF4. Achieving "Warrior" rank, Kazunoko now has 43,790 BP.

Additionally, MCZ|Daigo Umehara continues to play Evil Ryu in the arcade, and has since cracked the top 3. Last we saw of The Beast, he and his E. Ryu were #8 on the list.

Ultra Street Fighter 4 available for download on PSN but currently not playable, causing issues for v2012 add-on

We have been receiving reports all day today that Ultra Street Fighter 4 is currently downloadable to those who pre-ordered the digital update on the PlayStation Network. Unfortunately, the long awaited SF4 series update is not playable at the moment.

The USF4 update comes in at a 3.5GB file size, and the 2014 Challengers costume pack, that which includes the UDON designed alternate outfits for Hugo, Elena, Poison, Rolento, and Decapre, is only 100kb. Once these downloads are complete, however, Ultra Street Fighter 4 cannot be launched.

Players who have attempted to launch the USF4 update have claimed that doing so will disable the Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition v2012 DLC add-on, reverting the game back to Super Street Fighter 4 or Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition, based on whichever disc you own.

Ultra Street Fighter 4 must be uninstalled, and a re-install of the v2012 update is necessary to reclaim your lost DLC.
