No way Leo gonna stoop that low

While that used to be the case that's changing because honestly , since Sopranos, TV shows have been better than films to me

True... I don't really have a favorite film but I know any of the ones I really like do not come close to The Sopranos, The Wire, or BE for me.

Apparently, Winter wants Leo on the show

Leonardo DiCaprio is a very busy man these days. And he may become busier if “Boardwalk Empire” creator Terence Winter casts him in HBO’s Prohibition-era drama. A Nov. 25 report from The Wrap said that Winter would love the idea, even if it was just a cameo.

“That would be awesome,” Winter said. “I never even thought to ask him because he’s so unbelievably busy. That [“The Great Gatsby”] was his fourth movie in a row and I believe he was going to take some time off, so that wasn’t even a possibility. But God, if he would ever do it? I obviously would welcome that. We got Martin Scorsese to do it. Why not?”

DiCaprio and Winter worked together on Scorsese’s “The Wolf of Wall Street,” which releases to theaters on Christmas Day. And Scorsese, an executive producer for “Boardwalk Empire,” has casted DiCaprio in many of his films, including Oscar winners “The Departed” and “The Aviator.” “The Wolf of Wall Street” marks the fifth time that Scorsese and DiCaprio have partnered for a film.

This wouldn’t be DiCaprio’s first venture into television. The 39-year-old actor had roles in “Growing Pains” and the 1990s version of “Parenthood,” when he was in his teens.

“Boardwalk Empire” just finished its fourth season and will return for a fifth in the fall of 2014.

i can see this happening. esp. due to the leo-scorsese connection

Lol, doubt it

chalky just abandoned his family; but when he was talking to narcisse he said he preferred a bank roll in one hand and a gun in the other

How do you even go back to your family after that? Dude got busted cheating, caused his daughter's marriage to be cancelled, and then got his daughter killed.

And I believe his statement to Narcisse was meant to say that he wasn't meant to be some big time Boss. He was just a simple hustler.
