I knew Jimmy had it bad but didnt know he had it this bad until this episode. Gillian been pulling strings from the jump and she flies under the radar cause she a woman & show girl. Jimmy wouldnt be at war if she didnt convince him to get revenge on the dude that 'pimped' her out and conviently forgiving his dad cause it was convieint. After this episode it really rings true cause she plays every male on the show without them even knowing it and of course Jimmy is the usual puppet.
WOW. I didnt think that she would go there. I knew they have had some inappororiate moments but thought it would come short of that. She completely sabotoged Jimmy's academic career, coming to visit him in college & proably leading on the professor. She was proud that Jimmy protected her honor cause he was always more than just a son to her but her soulmate. It backfired and Jimmy would literally fight in a war to get away from her. Jimmy finally is fed up with her shit, her coldness regarding his wife and would've killed her. But the Commadaire steps in to resucue him (who would've thought an old man who suffered a stroke could hold his own). And of course she completely jumps ship and orders Jimmy to finish him.
and to make matters worse now she has Tommy to mold with Angela outta the picture. She was barely able to contain her happiness about Angela's death and the flashback showed that she hated her from the begining cause she could get in between their relationship.
we got alot about Jimmy and his relationship with his mom. We never know how deeply jimmy felt about angela cause it was always a relationship of convience and a means to get away from his mom. The only one truly touched by her death was Richard who I hope unleashes hell on the Butcher.
and what the fuck happened to Margaret? All things considered she was one of my favorite female characters in one of these shows. But the last few episodes she become just like every female lead who almost seem to be there as a foil for the lead (Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Mad men, Homeland, etc)
lol at Van Alden busting guns and getting outta dodge. Happy to show didnt completely ignore the baptism from last season. I see him trying to take Doyle up on his offer and things ending very badly.
