It was a warning because he is talking to the prosecuter...it wasnt a hit. All he as doing was letting ole boy know "there are consequences for what youre about to do" thats it, he didnt want to kill him. Eli was smart enough to know how stupid and how pussy that dude is and if he didnt get to him first dude wouldve gave up some shit. In my opinion it shouldve really been a hit and they shouldve killed him thats the dumb shit Eli did, not killing him.
