As a consumer I guess there's not much you can do since the industry seems like it has no interest in hiring Black talent.

I don't think its the lack of interest in black talent its probably the lack of black people period there are no comics shops where im from unless u go way downtown these kids can't get into that stuff unless it's available

thanks. i wonder if he would be allowed to move that character from Marvel to another publisher like Neil Gaiman did with his character Angela; moving her from Image comics to Marvel. Or do characters with 'Marvel' as part of their name is still fully owned by Marvel comics?

it all depends on the contracts i believe. It took Neil awhile to make the move and to get Miracle Man back iirc. While she's the same Angela from Spawn, she's getting a new origin story in Marvel. She's going to be Thor's sister from the 10th realm.

oh yeah, i'm interested to see where this goes. She's supposed to be Odin's legit daughter and there could be all kinds of storylines that emerge from this new realm
