Smh

Teen pregnancy rate has hit a 20 yr low...which should serve to curb single motherhood considering a large percentage of single mothers start off as teen mothers

with that said, what a hypocrite...he proudly supports the politicians who scoff at sex ed in schools, rally to cut funding to health clinics for low income people and want to make birth control less acessible yet beyonce is the problem

not to mention multiple studies have shown that the biggest predicator of teen pregnancy is poverty, not beyonce...so why isnt bill arguing for higher wages so parents dont have to work 2 jobs to survive and so they can better monitor what their child is listenin too..and considering the high unemployment rate among blks why isnt bill publicly criticizing the politicians who have voted against president obama jobs bill

I gotta play the advocate here

So when black folks going to stop excusing the bullshit? So its cool that she drew poison from their wretched water wells and fed it to the young girls who pledge allegiance to her?

Sidenote: I remember a nigga said on here that he couldn't commit to the girl because he didn't want a put a ring on it. I laughed at that gay comment. Her influence is huge

The reason Bill is wrong is if she changes they will just hop to the next raunchy act. Don't blame the bartender for the drunks

But at some point the bartender has to know when a person has had enough or nah?

To a degree yes but who says its enough. I'm not a fan but he songs are not the reason for the breakdown in society. She makes different types of songs and some of the main reasons other artist didn't reach her level is because she does somethings others wont.

My point is, "our megastars" are few and the ones there are "coonish" to stay in "their" good graces so how about she carries the torch and be more proactive with our sisters?

his point wasnt that she is the root cause of the issues...

I've never subscribed to the notion that music is to blame for social problems. When it is brought up, u better have a better response than "she's getting money or she's married"...

don't get caught in a trap where u defending bullshit....

But we say society as if we're included in that society. When an American flag goes up, do people envision black folks or the melting pot? When they see the eagle, do they think of Jerome Jackson?

It's about our community and our culture. We can chastise Rick Ross for being fake daily but the content Beyonce kicks to young girls is cool?

If the mentor seems too "righteous", black folks react negatively towards them or don't pay attention. Someone of no substance comes aboard and we have every excuse in the book to back them up.

It's frightening how posters can't comprehend this simple logic. They subscribe to and worship no logic/substance shit but put the righteous ones are looked down upon.

But the teen pregnancy rate is declining though lol

I get beyonce is influential among young women especially grls of color but we live in oversexed culture anyways

If you or whoever feels that she is a bad influences on the youth why not attack the corporate interest who continue to prompt up these stars instead of supporting artist who make postive, socially conscious music

Not like she is out here singing about hoing ... she is a married woman who waited until she had a husband to have a baby...the star of "partiation" is her husband ....she is constantly talking, singing about how great marriage is

lol... she peddles garbage... defending her is the wrong strategy...

Im not the biggest fan of her music but explain ...

and attacking her music isnt the most productive strategy either....just saying

lol @ the arguments being made and niggas not knowing the difference between entertainment and reality. This is marilyn manson made me do it all over again and you dumb mfs eat it up.

its an opportunity to discuss real issues...

when these racists go at these coon entertainers, we need to take control of the convo instead of defending these munkees.

I don't think its the medias job to raise peoples children or makeup for the shortfalls of the parents. I wish she would be a better role model but she doesn't have a duty too.
