Best Hip-Hop album of 1996? AEOM? RD? IWW?

P ate Pac. Bottom line. You got niggas who probably wasnt even potty trained in 96, barking about what was going on then. Stop the madness. Alot of dope albums and shows made 96 a magical year. Ironman was untouchable. Nobody on that list was spitting like Ghost. Ironman started what would become the best, most consistent disography in rap history.

why are niggas voting reasonable doubt when in 96 nobody copped the album .....

with the hip hop releases the nba draft and the economy/morale of america 96 could easily go down as one of the greatest years the country has ever had .... with all the greatness we had that year reasonable doubt was a non factor ...

the mo thugs album was more potent on a consumer scale than reasonable doubt .....

Pac was da first mainstream hiphop artist to drop a double album (which was a classic),and then in dat same year drops another classic that was better than da double disc imo. Pac's da GOAT,no question.

So if a tree falls in the forest and nobody hears it does it make a sound?

as of 2011, nobody still hasnt heard that tree,

u'd think niggas wud go out and cop his so called classic by now....WTT will outsell RD (current figures) before the end of the year....Jay fans and even hs stans dont really care about that album, however much they PRETEND online lmao

AEOM and MATW are still selling

two classics in a year> one overrated album that nobody plays still to this day

but 96 was the year when legends were made and broken, to me the final golden year

that time will never come again, that many dope albums in one year, impossible

RD went gold in 96 haters

aeom went 5 plat in 2 months

rd is still yet to go 2 plat

why cant jay get 2 mil people to listen to rd? niggas lie to kick it, pretend they bump that shit, only a very small minority bump it,

all of jays other albums are still selling yet RD is one of his slowest selling album, it must sell one copy a year now

RD of-course?

i was a teenager in 96, so i was listening to everything,

RD wasnt poppin anywhere, it got hyped up a little some years later and the hip hop revisionists/jay stans who were lil babies during the 90's think it was something special

even still it hit Plat status in 2003 and doesnt sell as much as Jays other albums, simply because majority of Jays fanbase dont fuck with it, RD gets no plays in the real world, minus Marcey.

AEOM defines 1996, Pac had the "world" on lock down with Cali Luv, How Do U Want It, etc.....when i think of 1996 all i can hear is Cali Luv playing

7 day Theory came out end of 96, and then Hail Mary dropped in early 1997 and that was one of the biggest records of 97.

RD simply doesnt compare,
