Chris Rock said it best...

"Doggystyle, to me, is better than Dr. Dre's Chronic. It has held up way better because it's a party album, and its lyrics are better. The Chronic is sonically incredible, but it's hard to drive around singing songs about "Eazy-E can eat a big fat dick." But I got a feeling I'll be singing "Gin and Juice" when I'm ninety."

DoggyStyle all day

Imo, Dogg Food is in Second Place.

That shit is Criminally slept on, and then the Chronic 3rd.

All three are fucking Incredible timeless bodies of work though

You can argue for either to be honest. It all comes down to preference.

I went with Snoop's debut because it was such a monumental debut and the anticipation for it was absolutely insane. The only other one that was similar was the buzz around 50.

Both albums still sound incredibly fresh to this day.

Chronic changed the game Doggystyle road that wave continuing the Gfunk vibe and cementing Snoops spot and was a dope album but it did not do what Chronic did to the airwaves still Love both albums and when a track from either comes on it instantly is sung along with word for word...

Doggystyle is a masterpiece of an album. That's why I've always been a big Snoop fan. His sound and his style were a first at the time. Love that album.
