Yeah I like him too, he's started dwelling into alot of straight to dvd stuff lately but LIGHT IT UP and SUNSET PARK and even MOESHA he definitly did his thing there, and he's at least as good as STICKY FINGAZ

Mos Def is pretty solid, he's a schooled actor after all JOURNEY TO THE END OF THE NIGHT with him and Brendan Fraser http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0454879/ is a movie I highly recommend, it's a gritty street-thriller where Brendan Fraser does a very different role he plays a pimp who's looking for a way out, Mos Def is a guy who's involved in the plan for him to get out... It's reminiscent stylewise of COLLATERAL and CITY OF GOD...

Seen him also in BE KIND REWIND, ITALIAN JOB and 16 BLOCKS he brings alot of warmth to his characters, although I do believe that he has more potential...

I have to 150% agree with you mon the bold. I love game as a musician but he is by far the worst rapper/actor ever!!! It's really embarrassing to watch him on the screen lol.

damon was terrible in state property and terrible in the lil scene he had in paid in full

game was awful in that movie he was in with tyrece and megan goode

When you say RED do you mean REDMAN? Because he's HORRIBLE, he's alright I guess as sidekick to METH in HOW HIGH but in dramatic parts like COLORZ OF RAGE he's one of the worst, I should have mentioned him as that... METHOD MAN though, he's actually pretty solid did very good as CHEESE in THE WIRE and had a small but good part in COP LAND also the funniest thing about SOUL PLANE and MY BABY'S DADDY, he a great comedic actor but he can do drama too if he plays "himself" doubt he could do anything else

Speaking of Q-TIP which you mentioned, I saw PRISON SONG the other day, he was good enough in the part BUT he was like 30 playing like 19 (wtf?), DEREK LUKE or someone would have been perfect for the role, Q-Tip can't play a young man damn it...

I loved JAY-Z in STATE PROP he was like the comic relief of that movie, his character was like TONY SOPRANO meets FORREST GUMP it was awesome, every scene with him in there is gold. DAMON DASH on the other hand, man he almost ruined STATE PROPERTY 2, argh he's annoying.

It's about acting though not if you like the character. Jay-Z was awful acting wise in that movie just like his SNL skit even though he was a lil funnier there.
