I love to visit NYC. My girl lives in Park Slope, Brooklyn....but dont think i want to live there (expensive and i like space).

you're already from a dope city, I would soak it up a lil more b4 I moved up north... at least til the economy turns around a lil'...maybe you got a good career and that don't matter tho...which in that case go right ahead...

my advice would be to get you a place in North Jersey...rent's cheaper and more available and you're only a short drive away from the city....

Personally I loved it.

My mother brought a brownstone in NYC and we lived there for a number of years before coming back to London. We travel between both cities though.

I actually liked New Yorkers no nonsense attitudes. It's refreshing, and I guess because we came from England the prices didn't seem too steep (however my mother did notice that cigarettes in L.A were like 5 dollars and in NYC 11 dollars).

I would say though, even though I love that city, there is a 'rat race' feeling. I can't quite explain it.

I don't like Brooklyn though. People look mad 24/7.

london is really a shithole to be honest regarding hygiene and overall condition. i thought i accidently took the plane to bratislava when i got there. and dem girls are by far the most trashy on earth. i will not even talk about housing prices for these ruins they rent out.

the best parts are the historic stuff like tower bridge and stuff like that and the westfield mall, other than that i cant understand why someone would want to spend his life there except you used to live in a wooden hut in tanzania.

I'm glad you like that shit; most of the people I see up here have little to NO manners at all. If you bump into someone, the common corteousy thing to do would be to say "excuse me" or "pardon" or some shit like that, right? Not in NYC, especially Brooklyn. Mafuckas just look at you, mad as shit. And that spreads...mostly to the kids. Little disrespectful bastards.

Also, driving in NYC fucking sucks. Cabbies really need mandatory Driver's Ed courses like once a year. Everyone's mega-aggressive and tries to fit cars into the smallest fucking spaces either getting by on a lane, or parking. Pedestrians are the WORST. You'd think people would know NOT to try to cross the street if the adajcent street has the green light. Nah. They'll cross the street whenever, almost daring you to hit their asses. Shit's terrible.

The best thing about NYC is that there's ALWAYS something to do; if you can't find anything, you're not trying hard enough.
