Eminem couldn't even have an album with production half as good as Life Is Good has, nevermind the lyrics and songs. He would insist on producing most of the album, therefore making it wack.

Plus there's songs he fantasizes about killing her ('Kim' off The Marshal Mathers LP) and the abuse he hurls at her in some songs is just laughable
On the other hand, you can hear NaS reminiscing on good times on 'Bye Baby' and not being overly emotional or a sounding like a wreck
Plus I dunno if Em has laid off the pills ...

Its called "Recovery"
Not as good, but almost touches all the same topics you speak of.

At this point I completely agreed. But then he went off on Eminem for no reason...
"Man fuck Eminem. People be acting like he's one of the greatest, but fuck that bitch. He don't talk about shit."
Here, I started to think to myself "Yes he does, he has plenty of tracks about serious shit" but I wasn't about to start a stupid ass argument.
But that convo really got me thinking. What if Eminem had made the same album? Would we be praising it like we are? Would XXL have given it a classic rating?
I mean real talk, Em has a bunch of serious songs that are similar to some of Nas' material:
On Parenting:
Nas- Me and You, Daughters
Em- Mockingbird, When I'm Gone, Hallie's Song
On Politics:
Nas- My Country, American Way, America
Em- Mosh, We As Americans, Square Dance
On Poverty and Struggle:
Nas- One Mic, Project Windows, God Loves Us, We Will Survive
Em- Rock Bottom, 8 Mile Road, If I Had
Relationships and Marriage:
Nas- Getting Married, Bye Baby
Em- Superman, Spacebound
I'm not saying Em= Nas in anyway, but I'm just curious to see what the IC would think of Life is Good if it was Em's album, but touched on the same topics and had the same messages as Nas did.
What are y'all thoughts?
Gee, I know your stance, so I'm good on that homie, LoL...
