It was dramatized for TV however the defense did have access to the gloves before that. It's where Bailey came up with the idea of goading the prosecution.

How you got all this so called evidence and none of it stuck? You dismissing the simple fact of the glove not even being there at first. Multiple officers didn't see shit. All of a sudden a known crooked racist cop pops up and finds the glove ALL BY HIMSELF...? LOL I'm not going back over this again. They didn't even get to the part where O.J knees are all fucked up and stabbing two grown ass people a million times yet. Last but not least, why didn't they look for anybody else? They went straight to O.J and nobody else, Like johnny said "that is not how you handle an investigation. But this is how it's handled when dealing with minorities". Nicole was also wrapped up in the drug game as well. That alone should have set off some red flags. Hell, nicole was fucking the whole hood, maybe somebody caught feelings when she started fucking with ron....who knows!!

If this is not the most naive...

One glove was found at the scene of the crime with substantial DNA evidence of the victims and suspect all over it. The other by Kato's guest house on OJ's property was the same but with a strand of hair similar to Nicole's on top. This is not fabrication, it's fact!

They found financial receipts linking Nicole to the purchase of those gloves. Fact!

They had photo evidence of OJ wearing the gloves displayed at the trial. Fact!

The glove incident was ONE year after the murder a lot happened to both the gloves and OJ's hands in that year.

This is exactly why the prosecution was against him trying on the gloves in the first place. They knew the gloves shrunk due to being soaked in the blood of Goldman, Simpson and Brown. As well as frozen and unfrozen countless times.

Darden was advised by Clark and other members of the prosecution to not to ask Simpson to try on the glove. They wanted him to argue through experts that in better condition, the glove would fit. Now this did not make this dramatization so I guess it must not be true even though every piece written about this case since has broached that subject 10 times over smfh

Darden fucked up. Point blank. Their trump card made them laughing stocks cause of his poor judgement. Not cause it wasn't a trump card.

Wanna know why the finger wasn't pointed at anybody else? Because there was nobody else to point it towards as all relevant evidence led back TO OJ.

Wanna know why it being a drug gang killing was not considered? Because the details were highly inconsistent on every level compared to how ritual drug war murders are dished out. This is why that suggestion was laughed at and considered conspiracy by the prosecution.

But the nature of the murders was very consistent compared to crimes of passion. Which is why the domestic violence angle was being played up so much at the beginning of that trial.

Yes there have been a lot injustices towards minorities at the hands of LAPD. This wasn't one of them. There were never any suspect cases out there with evidence as hard and clear cut as the gloves in this case. If Darden had listened and shown restraint who knows how differently everything would've gone down.

The defense did their job by lying on the side of doubt by all means possible whilst taking advantage of a very naive and inexperienced prosecution (in comparison to the dream team defense) that was swimming with sharks in waters that were completely familiar to them (ie: Cochran and Bailey the man who got off the cotdamn boston strangler).

It doesn't mean their (the defense) narrative was true or that they actually believed it. It was good lawyering. They saw blood in the water and they swam out towards it by all means. Which is what they were paid for.

You're the one who needs to rewatch this trial and review the actual facts of this case as opposed to being led on by a dramatization that is supposed to be impartial on all ends and also highly fabricated for the sake of entertainment.
