Even though KL has already gone platinum and he has that machine behind him I think KRIT will hit his stride and stay there longer than KL.
i don't believe KL can keep up his popularity or this same level of musical output. A lot of people have already started turning on him, some people never liked him in the first place but I find it difficult to envision him becoming more popular than he has been In the last two years or so. I honestly don't see him topping his first two albums musically either.
On the flip side KRIT is probably the most consistent guy out there right now and unless he drastically changes his sound he will be able to make those smooth, southern jams on the underground scene for the next decade if he wants to. He's had a slow start but has bounced back a lot since the album, so maybe he won't go platinum (I don't see it anyway) but he can still have a long and prosperous career in his own right.

If that made sense I would've been offended. Lucky you.

Good point. I don't think he fits anywhere though....maybe MMG...maybe but I think he good enough to stand alone. It may hurt him as far as sales and album releases are concerned though.

KRIT kind of has the same issue J Cole has, he has no edge to him. J Cole just has a team behind him (Roc Nation) and KRIT doesn't (Def Jam).

He dont fit anywhere cause he's put himself in a box. He hasnt stepped outside that box yet! Like 5 or 6 mixtapes/albums deep and still the same guy/same music. Thats all fine and dandy, it just wont translate to the mainstream ala his main influence UGK.
