i dont know about all that, the movie was just bad , the concept of the engineers & cgi were very good but it was poorly executed, whereas new hope was a great movie regardless of the dated special effects.

Watched it at an early premier through my shorty's job. Its really good. Ridley Scott definitely needs to direct the franchise for now on. Action and horror elements are put together nicely. Jussie Smollet gets some shine in this for those who are Empire fans. Only thing i will tell you is dont go into the movie hoping your favorite characters will survive. Two thumbs up

Aliens interms of action but not the type of characters, its kinda suspenseful gory horror too, they were very under developed, i kinda didnt care for any of them.

i do think if you are a die hard alien/aliens fan you will be disappointed and it doesn't answer some fundamental questions from prometheus but answers some questions from Alien (which means might or might not be satisfying).

Also Humans in the Prometheus universe still dumb as hell when it comes to protocol lol.
