People being buried alive is not uncommon though.

Not too long ago they used to dig a hole through the casket and place a strong connected to a bell so if you got buried alive you just ring the bell and they'd dig your ass back up LOL

I guess some bodies got exhumed to be placed elsewhere and for whatever reason the casket was opened on a few and they found scratch marks and pieces missing from the top of the casket from people trying to claw their way out.
