More social programs is not the answer, SMARTER social programs is part of the solution. We need to allow former convicts to get jobs, we need to make it so ppl don't rely on welfare, we need to end the War on Drugs immediatedly, we need to stop privatizing prisons and maybe most importantly we need fathers for these kids. Children of single parents commit the most crimes in this nation. Unfortunately, none of this will happen because Congress is bullshit and there's more money to be made off the War on Drugs and imprisoning people than whats good for black ppl and society in general.
