I cant say I disagree with threadstarter,or agree. It all depends on how the youngsters feel about these guys. If these guys end up being the soundtrack for their teenage, early twenties years, then they will be legends. No oldhead can stop that from happening.

Im gonna have to say Cole for sure has potential. Lupe will be a legend I agree with the have it in the bag statement just a few albums. I feel not enough people feel T.I. is even though I do so 10 years him and Kanye will be no brainers.

Now as far as the Rick Ross and Gucci statements im not trying to be a "music snob" but I really dont believe Ross will be in Jays lane 10 years from now, and probably not a legend. I dont think Gucci will and im not even going to argue lyrical skills or any of that shit but look at Sigels career that man could have been a legend but instead he kept doing dumb shit and got in trouble with the law. Kanye and TI have the catalog so far to be one day, it's all about longevity and consistency now. You need a sure fire classic to me to be a legend, impact and influence. Lupe might be able to, but i just don't know; he seems like he is scared to go to the next level.
