1) Drake- If he can capitalize on his buzz he has the potential to get there

2) Lupe- Pretty much has it in the bag now just needs a couple of more albums

3) Rick Ross- The music speaks for itself. Call me crazy but in 10 years he could be in Jay's spot

4) J. Cole- Lots of potential

5) Gucci Mane- Say what you want but for what Gucci lacks in talent he makes up for in sheer hustle, not to mention that when at his best no one goes harder in the ride. I kinda see him as the down south Too Short to a certain degree

All five I have questions about. Lupe is the only one who I can see being considered amongst the elite. The other 4.. No way (I do like J. Cole tho).

Somebody who I would like to see mentioned is Fabolous. I just dont think itll happen. Hes comparable to Tracy McGrady. Has pretty good numbers to make the Hall of Fame, but theres not a defining moment in their careers.

I cant say I disagree with threadstarter,or agree. It all depends on how the youngsters feel about these guys. If these guys end up being the soundtrack for their teenage, early twenties years, then they will be legends. No oldhead can stop that from happening.
