If an uncompromising album like untitled went gold then Life is Good shouldn't have a problem....and also what is the definition of flopping these days?

I was hoping Krit could get to 100 k....don't see it happening now.

i wonder where he goes after this. he needs to just go indy or he's gonna have to sellout to an extent for something that garners some form of radio play. Maybe link up with a crew. He can't even headline a small tour with those number. dam shame. Hopefully def jam gives him one more shot but I never even heard a 2nd or 3rd single

Well let's put things into perspective a little bit.

"Untittled" dropped in 2008 the same year that "The Carter" sold 1 million first week & the same year that T.I. went Gold first week...2008 was Obamas election year and here we are 4 years later in 2012 and it's election time again...but ain't nobody selling like 2008.

"Untittled" had extra hype and promotion surrounding it die the inflammatory nature of the title and subject matter so many people copped it just to hear what the controversy was...Life is Good doesn't have that hype/promo.

I could never call a #1 record or a record that does 100K and better a flop in this era unless it was an album from Platinum stars like JayZ, Kanye, Wayne, Drake, or Emenim.

I was hoping KRIT would be over 100k by now, but I guess its mostly cuz he get little airplay. As long as he has sold more units than Waka...LIFE IS GOOD

hiphop artist did it to themselves devaluing the music putting out mixtapes and free music, of course these little nigglets aren't gonna go buy your shit or place value on it when they get it for free. You have to starve these fans and put out quality music, make them pay for it. Only people that should be putting out free shit is new artist.

125k is right around what I was expecting for Life is Good. It's another #1 album for Nas and I don't think the album will have trouble going Gold. Hopefully it has some legs on the charts! I think this might be Nas' first album that didn't have any singles reach the Hot 100 so I guess it's not too surprising that he didn't move more units in the first week.

Don't really matter if NAS goes gold, platinum, wood, or aluminum..He still gonna make money touring off his early material for the next 10 years....How many artist TODAY can tour off their first albums...not many...

lol @ lionel richie country album selling more then most rap albums

country fans don't bootleg like rap fans do. they have more respect for the artist

hell every genre outside of rap have respect for the artist. i just think rap fans dont think the music is that good anymore

the singles are good but the albums are trash ... they should name thier albums filler central ;)

Whos buying tyga albums?

hypnotised radio listeners ... however if anyone dropped a decent album it might be tyga ... he had some pretty good singles and i heard some pretty decent album cuts like the joint he got with nas ..............

Tyga's album really ain't bad, it has a few skippable songs but i actually like it.

no doubt i would agree from what i heard thus far .... but i am kind of dissapointed because i became a fan of tyga after that tape he did with chris brown ... a huge fan ... but since then dude has been letting me down with his personal work ... but yeah i liked a few joints off the album tho .... just fell short of the high expectations i had for the kid when i first heard him
