And the main characters wife was supposed to start a singing career. Dude was pissed for some reason and went to yell at her manager. And then he went "And if that guy in the picture with you is Suge Knight, then I'll lower my voice"

interesting. I never really spent too much time following suge or the inner workings of deathrow. but I recall suge and pac were having a falling out over him getting more serious into acting. obviously suge wanted him to fulfill his contract duties with him releasing CD's

Suge Knight learned the music business(the actual business,contracts,points,etc) from Dick Griffey. Dick Griffey was

a record producer and one of the first black label owners along with Berry Gordy. He owned Solar records(Sound Of

Los Angeles Records). Dick Griffey is the one who gave Dr.Dre the studio to record The Chronic in. Suge is a former

football player and was a bodyguard of Bobby Brown. After Cube left NWA Dr.Dre took a look at his contracts and

realized he wasn't being paid properly. Ruthless was supposed to be Dre and Eazy's label but Jerry Heller came and

it became Jerry and Eazy's label. So Dre chooses to start his own label,and I think Suge met Dre through Dick Griffey.

Long story short,a lot of the Ideas and marketing of those classic Death Row albums are Suge's decisions. When Suge

met Snoop his rap name was Snooper Duper,it was Suge's idea to shorten it and add the Doggy Dogg,an also to have

his hair braided. In gang terms a "Dog" is a "Blood" and "Cuz" is a "Crip",Snoop and DPG are Crips but they call

themselves The Dogg Pound,they flipped the terminology. It was Suge's idea to even call Dre's first record The

Chronic. Harry-O always told Suge to stay behind the scenes but once he got the cover of The Source it seems like he

just got addicted to the fame.

Main problem was suge was ripping pac off. Had him paying for nate doggs child support and shit(no lie). Pac wasnt getting paid, whenever he asked for his money they would pay him off by buying him a watch or car to shut him up.

yep,originally Death Row was supposed to be the music division of Godfather Entertainment,The Ceo's/Owners were

Dr.Dre and D.O.C own half and Suge and Harry-O own the other half.
