    artists get more of a cut from concert sales, though studios still get a piece. that is now changing with 360 deals, labels are getting desperate and are trying to squeeze every last dime from artists. the sooner the labels go under the better.

    you're right, but for the wrong reasons. artists on majors make fuck all on album sales because record labels kill them on the advance. the only time i'll buy an album now is on vinyl to add it to my collection of albums that i consider perfect to listen to straight through. go see them in...
