maybe its not hate....understand that techs style is def not for everyone.Ajax McJones;395243 said:you'd be suprised how much hate tech gets
IT not as much, but people wont put him anywhere near canibus
even though Immortal is a lot better
krow132;395247 said:Immortal Tecnique is a boring version of Dead Prez. sorry immortal tecnique fans, but his music can be boring.
I always told people who want to hear political/conspiracy theory raps to either listen to Dead Prez or Ice Cube and youll be entertained while getting knowledge on said topic.
Nigga (and im black don't worry) immortal tecnique be tryin to fit encylopedias into verses. not poppin

i dont listen to him all the time, but Joe budden is great and so Nas but they have enough boring tracks too
im just saying he's got skills, but skills in hip hop and the ability to make intresting music are two different things
only a few can do it.
krow132;395413 said:You see, I disagree. I don't think I heard one Nas or Joe Budden song that I was bored with. They know how to make a meaningful song and compartementalize it (sp?) so it still sounds like a song.
Immortal Tecnique just spatts all of them on a song and to me that takes away from his skills.
He has instances (alot of instances) where he just spatts and completely loses the beat and goes off flow. That shit is not good
Ajax McJones;395501 said:whats boring comes back to opinion, so im not gonna try and dive to deep into that
but tech n9ne seems to balance meaning with fun really well
I just dont see what N9ne is doing that so wrong , the only gripe i have with him is that some of the beats are a tiny bit over produced
and im hoping you guys are all way too mature to start calling him a devil worshipper or an 'evil whack clown'
The guy makes loads and loads of dope tracks

It's like how we all know Will Smith technically CAN spit, but still we don't fuck with his music because he's lame as hell as a rapper now.
As for the Immortal/Nas/Budden comment, Joe Budden knows how to take you with him through his lyrics, so it's not boring, more like a a movie or episode of Maury/Springer/Celebrity Rehab, lol.
Immortal is nice technically, but he is boring and then he's White with not a whole lot to talk about (Yeah, keepin' it real)
Nas, man this guy is sooooooo overated IMO. His BEST tracks are ones featured with exciting artists or producers (ie: Quick To Back Down, Made U Look, If I Ruled The World, Won't See Me Tonight, Nas Is Like, Hate Me Now) basically his radio friendly stuff is his best shit to me (What? Am I Crazy?) yes I probably am, but his more "deeper" tracks are more like lullabies to me, I cannot listen to a whole Nas album without skipping. He's definitely good, but only when he's trying new different shit. I actually consider "I AM" his best album only because it grabs you from a commercial stand point. Do I like "Commercial Rap" not in a sense that I'll listen to Gucci, Waka Flocka, Soulja Boy etc. But an artist LIKE Nas making the type of music he'd like to hear on the radio, because obviously a commercial Nas song is a lot more non commercial than a commercial Waka Flocka song.
Nas sounds better commercially than not and y'all know it.

but he is still a great rapper, some guys dont mind being boasted to
