Hey....much rather that answer than some bullshit for the white media to self servingly latch onto and aggrandize to not only obscure public perception but have a negative effect on the mike brown trials knowing damn well they dont know or give a fuck abt young thug....but if he said something tgey could flip bounce n exploit they would

i can understand not liking his response but fodder to whine online about is much better than wat an illadivised statement could snowball into....

Big Krit is my favorite new school rapper but if he said the same thing then he is going to get the same outcome from me too. I hold no bias

Well duh, big Krizzle' has sense.

U not gonna bark on a retard, as if it has sense....

The fake out rage needs to stop

So he get a pass (let Young Thug get his money) but if Krit or J Cole made the same comment then they are getting crucified?

God damn you niggas love misdirecting your energy. There are people more connected to Ferguson that you niggas should be complaining about but instead y'all choose to be titangraph-furious at a swag rapper that has nothing to do with Ferguson.

Like I said before y'all are just hating just to hate. Crab mentality

This sums it up as far as mainstream Hip Hop is concerned. First Iggy finds support with urban audiences though she is obviously a complete fraud, black artists are sabotaging themselves and defending white regardless of their blatant disrespectful, reckless behavior (see Justing Beiber), lyricism is at an all time low, and radio sold out. Don't be surprised if "Hip Pop" becomes an official term and is at the forefront.

Everybody that is giving this clown ass nigga pass for that repsonse is part of the problem within the black community. It is responses like his and those giving him a pass as just one of the reasons groups and races continue to look down on and exploit black people. It also gives them the entitlement feeling that they can kill black people and feel like they can get away with it. They feel like if their own who they make famous and rich don't care about dead black men unjustly murdered then why should we.

The shit is bigger than just the comment he made. That comment is going to be interpreted by a lot of different people in a lot of different ways. White people use comments like this to justify the continuation of the shit they been pulling since they brought us here. How in fuck can some of yall not see that shit? Why yall think everytime shit like this happens and black people mad you hear white screaming why yall not mad at black on black violence?

Some of yall walking around life with yall eyes wide shut

There was a time when any hip hop artist you asked had an opinion on what was going on with black ppl as a whole

Niggas is coons

Why would they ask his opinion on Mike Brown?? Did they think he would just turn off his "swag" and give an intelligent opinion? Smh

I'm just tired of these niggas being idiots. How difficult is it to conduct yourself with just a modicum of intellect and dignity?

I guess it's just par for the course these days.

If the person is an idiot, it would be very difficult.

I bet even in 2004 if you asked the most dancing partying rapper about something like this they would at least say RIP

I bet even the ying yang twins or LiL Jon would speak on that

You don't have to be KRS or Tupac to care about the black community

I hate these swaggots

Nothin wrong with what was said as quoted here. Nobody was insulted or anything. You aint sposed to speak on nothin you dont know about. Actually more people should do that. Not the type statement which would really cause problems.

the reporter asked. “What do think needs to be changed in the way black men are policed in America?”

“Leave that up with the critics and the laws and all that other s**t,” the rapper replied. “We having fun, we iced out, we having money. That’s how we doing it.

you dont see anything wrong with this monkey ass answer?

@‌nocompetition

I look at it as dude stayin in his lane. He just a rapper.I dont expect him to know nothin about it or be anything other than a dude whos job is to make music. So its best just to say something like "that aint my lane, i stay in my lane"

so that means he can't speak as a black man in america? Is this the type of pass we're giving niggas now days?

Ain't nobody got time to complain about Justin fucking bieber & iggy azalea that's 2 people in a world of so much good music & people doing good deeds in the name of hip hop. And its all right up under your noses. Let iggy express herself like she want if bieber want to be black let him be. If young thug want to act ignorant & give dum statements let him. Hip hop will never ever ever be considered hip pop. Iggy & beiber want to be hip hop they're influence by the culture like every other suburban white kid & international kid. We focus so much on things we deem a detriment to hip hop that it actually becomes a detriment. Iggy has dam near became the new elvis & not because anything she did. Young thug basically said what every young nigga thinking as we speak. His statement was distasteful & dum but he does not speak for hip hop. He is a young kid he will live & learn.

The sabotaging of black businesses and communities started the civil rights movement. We fought the civil rights movement with outrage instead of just returning the violence

What has that "outrage" gotten us long term? What did it even get us back then?

Its completely obvious too. Just mad cause dude's successful. Like you said backwards energy. Personally, i get inspired when i see a young black person (or anybody really) have success. Then they wonder why their hatin only holds themselves back and doesnt stop the success of who they hatin on. But basically dudes response was "Im not going to speak on that". That is a cant lose response. He may have worded it clumsily, but really its bullettproof. So it aint got nothin to do with the answer he gave.
