nigga looks like a youthful wildabeast

this fag rapper and a handful of others need their asses whooped and videotaped for the masses to enjoy

Nothin wrong with what was said as quoted here. Nobody was insulted or anything. You aint sposed to speak on nothin you dont know about. Actually more people should do that. Not the type statement which would really cause problems.

I agree with him tho, he's a musical artist not a political leader. Didn't the Dixie Chicks get shat on for speaking ill of Bush? Their career fell off and never ever recovered.

Didn't Chappelle have a stand-up bit about this very exact thing?

I swear y'all niggas look for any reason to try and crucify this man. I honestly don't give a fuck about what Young Thug has to say about Ferguson but I still like his music

the reporter asked. “What do think needs to be changed in the way black men are policed in America?”

“Leave that up with the critics and the laws and all that other s**t,” the rapper replied. “We having fun, we iced out, we having money. That’s how we doing it.

you dont see anything wrong with this monkey ass answer?

I look at it as dude stayin in his lane. He just a rapper.I dont expect him to know nothin about it or be anything other than a dude whos job is to make music. So its best just to say something like "that aint my lane, i stay in my lane"

his answer had nothing to do with the question

what do you think about the slang murder of Trayvon Martin? "leave that up to their community, I'm working, successful, getting money". like what tf that got to do with the answer

I bet he reached out to Rich Homie tho but he suppose to since he call him his hubby.......queer ass niggas

I'm just tired of these niggas being idiots. How difficult is it to conduct yourself with just a modicum of intellect and dignity?

I guess it's just par for the course these days.

Fuck this nigga. Straight up.

Fuck any nigga who was givin' him a pass too the other week.

This is wtf happens when the culture goes from the gutter, relateable hood stories, anthems, spirituals, and social commentary. To this bullshit, front for the camera, lavish life, shallow trash.

It used to be a rapper's civil duty to speak on social issues. What in the fuck happened? Oh thats right, now niggas is just in it for the hustle, and we're supposed to only look to our artists as strictly entertainers right?

Right.

Right.

This is actually a good reason why they should only be looked at as entertainers since most of them are dumb as fuck case in point

Word to the "What does Ja think?" Chappelle bit. I feel what the posters are saying in here too though about rappers and social consciousness, but its all about context. Back in the 80s or 90s, you wouldn't ask Candyman or other party dudes about politics. You ask the political dudes about that. Its just now aint no political/conscious emcees really poppin like that, so i feel like they just ask who ever about whatever. I fuck with thug's music, but i haven't heard anything in there that would qualify dude to speak about anything other then designer clothes, lean and (possibly but probably not) fucking hoes.

However, dude does be dodgin questions like

The nigga has a voice in the game though because of dumb ass fans, a lack of gatekeepers, and an infiltration from outsiders who don't have the culture's best interest in mind.

He shouldn't even be as big as he is. Niggas who can actually rap, and give a shit about the black community at large are supposed to be in his position. That is how it used to be, which is my point. If the game as a whole was on point, then fuck heads like him wouldn't even have an opportunity to open their mouths.

His response was disgusting, and the interviewer actually bailed him out on a quickie.

But Listen, do we really want young thug, to discuss Ferguson?

Its not like he's Tupac, ice cube, j.cole, nas, david banner, killer mike etc....

I really hope, he don't get stomped out. N shout out to the black ppl in Missouri. In this day n age, them nigga are a rare one.

his answer to black police brutality was "im getting money and I got jewlery" that is not an "im staying in my lane" answer it was an irrelevant coon response "let the laws and critics handle that" is super stupid on the highest level.

let the law handle police brutality?

let critics handle police brutality?

Some of these cats need think before they speak and/or get all the questions up front before the interview so their peoples can get them ready for correct answers ......

A simple "R.I.P. to Mike Brown & I hope his family gets justice" would have been a goat answer

Why does anyone care about what young thug thinks about political/civil rights situations?

Entertainers are supposed to entertain. Not be out here preaching. If they want to, that's fine, but young thug is not someone who should be getting asked shit like this.
