Big Meech and Bleu put Jeezy on the map & Diddy made him famous SO THAT'S WHO DID THE LEG WORK. as usual, Hov received the credit.

Actually Block and L.A. Reid is the one that made him famous, he only dealt with Diddy when he was a member of Boys N Da Hood.

He was down with Block, Block signed Boys N Da Hood to Bad Boy South and that's how Diddy got down with them, L.A. Reid was the one that signed Jeezy to Def Jam.

If u bought Thug Motivation 101 when it first came out, there was a dvd with it and he basically says that L.A. was the one that signed him, not Jay-Z.

The only person Jay-Z really signed to Def Jam, was Rihanna. Shakir Stewart was the one that got Rick Ross to Def Jam, not Jay-Z.

But like always Jay-Z gets the credit for doing nothing, same shit like at Roc-A-Fella. The only artist that Jay brought to The Roc was Memphis Bleek, the rest was Dame and Biggs work. Beanie Sigel - That was Dame, Amil - That was Dame and Biggs, Dipset - That was Dame, State Property - That was Dame, Rell - That was Dame and Biggs, Kanye West - That was Dame, Twista was at one time about to sign - That was Dame and Nicole Wray - That was Dame Too.

Sauce Money and Jaz-O were Jay's dudes and he didn't sign them and Big L was about to sign - That was Dame again.

L.A. Reid and Shakir Stewart are the ones that was bringing talent to Def Jam, not Jay-Z

No. I already explained how Diddy was the first to get any of Jeezy's music distributed nationally and internationally. Block was the middle man (although I still should have included him) that still does not take away from anything Diddy did. You say Diddy was only responsible for Boyz in The Hood but guess what? Block was only responsible for that aspect of Jeezy's career as well, sounds like you guys from the southeast got a real strong bias against Diddy. or is it because he's from NEW YORK? keep in mind that Diddy been building talent in your region for a long time (Jodeci-NC) (Usher-GA). Diddy always been looking out for the south. he know where his roots are.

Again, Shakir signed both Jeezy and Ross. Show proof if what I said was false outside of just Jeezy talkin.' L.A. Reid oversees all signings and has the power to reject or accept any brought to him, but Shakir is the one who actually committed the act. If you can prove me wrong I stand corrected.

Nevertheless, I agree with everything else that you said.
