First dates should be more about learning about the person that breaking bread

Meet her for drinks at a time of day that is "in between meals" (like 2-5 on a saturday -- too late for lunch, too early for dinner)

That way, it doesn't "feel" datey, she's gonna be more comfortable and she prolly wont be hungry. Even a few drinks aint gonna hurt your pocket and you get to learn about her. talking to an inebriated woman is so revealing.
