True. I guess I assumed otherwise cause it seemed like most of the conversation was limited to the Clan. I mean no one was bringing up KP, Sunz of Man, Killarmy, Gravediggaz, Streetlife, Shyheim, La the Darkman, and the other thousand mutha fuckas tied to the Wu.

If there is one thing DF did better, they were a lot more discriminating with who they gave their flag to. The Wu kinda watered down their brand a little. The ones I named specifically above are cool, but those other acts were generally trash.

Depends on your taste really. I liked RAP Music, but I didn't really feel those RTJ joints too much. I liked 12 Reasons to Die and 36 Seasons better than the RTJ joints, but I wouldn't put them above RAP Music. So I'd say Ghost is putting out at least as much quality as Killer.

Now I ain't saying there would be no DF without the Wu, but Killer Mike is another who you can say admitted he's been influenced by the Wu. He said in an interview around the time when CL2 dropped that Striving for Perfection was one of the things that made him stop selling drugs and pursue music. And Ghost was a character in one of the songs off RAP Music.

I wanted to see where your head was at, because upper echelon could mean anything depending on how you define it. Run The Jewels were some dope albums but then again this is all subjective.
