IM a Wu Fan when I saw that video of Rock The Bells majority of the Wu audience were white folks... IDK I just seen concert footage of Slaughterhouse tour it lot more blacks and hispanics there than Wu...

i been to rock the bells show in DC 3 times it isn't just the wu there were more white hip hop fans there period. But this is a good ass question where are our white posters to answer this.

Money could involved.... Rock The Bells is $100 a ticket.....I copped a pair of Slaughterhouse Tickets in Time Square for $60

true. I think there were over 20 acts though. So 100 isn't really over priced. i paid 75 for my tickets. and shit i seen snoop the whole dogg pound, nas, Lauryn hill, plus more.

matter of fact i was there when that whole shit with buddens and the wu kicked off. Right after slaughterhouse got off stage Deck came on and dissed the shit outta of buddens. common, nas and the roots were there also. so you get way more bang for your buck.

you can freely smoke aswell just gotta put some vodka in your water bottle to sneak in your drink

but that 100 is still a beast.

Wu Tang Clan are like comic book characters when you think of it, who consume more comics than Wu. They have that underground anti establishment nature too that skaters identify with also.

that makes sense, the Wu takes on different personas and shit.. them motherfuckers got like 50 aliases...

I knew a white with a Wu tattoo...And I'm from London...

I was about 10...Never even heard of these goons...Saw the tatt went home and asked my brother what Wu-Tang was...He played Criminology...I listened..

They've been around for a long time So they have really broken into a large demographic . Just like a lot of white folks like NWA, Tribe Called Quest, Public Enemy etc. White people like hip hop and not white washed hip pop they putting out now thats why I don't understand them putting out this extra bleached music. They don't have to but what they doing with the culture is sinister in nature .

This is a good question. I'm white and a HUGE Wu fan. I've lived in both Staten Island and Brooklyn and through these communities I developed a very diverse group of friends. Many of which lived and grew up in public housing projects around NYC. They enjoy Wu just as much as I do and they live in the day by day reality of poverty and street life that Wu-tang has rapped about for years. To enjoy music fully you should know this, you don't have to live in Staten Island or the Hood to like Wu, the point of music is to share your everyday struggles and way of life with a diverse audience and to get your art out to as many people as possible regardless of race, belief, or culture. It's shouldn't matter. Good music is good music and if u believe that only one type of person can appreciate this art form then you are only escalating the type of ignorance and prejuduce that hip hop has been fighting for years. All men and women should be considered as equals. One Love.

well what makes a non-staten lsland, non-karate watchin, non-5 per center follow wu-tang?
why does "they're good at making hip-hop records" not answer this question

Reminds me of this time when i was 15 me and my moms just moved into this new house i was standing outside with my aunt and we looked next door and all you could see and hear was the white guy next door standing in his living room jumping up and down playing his guitar screaming loud as hell wutang clan aint nothing to fuck wit! My aunt was like o lord the whiteboy crazy!

the answer to this question is in the 16th degree of the lost found muslim lesson no2. this simple question can cause a debate in itself depending on what side of the fence you are on. you have the noi meaning of 5% and then you have clarence 13x meaning of 5%. I was taught that the true and living black man cream of the crop original man who is 100% cannot be 5% of himself mathematically. i was taught that caucasians, muslims, freemasons, etc.., etc.. can only refer to themselves as 5% because 5% of their population recognize that the black man is the supreme being. im going off of lessons i learned 12 years ago im sure hrap, major pain, fazeem, disciplined, mumo supreme mind can probably accurately elaborate further what im getting at i havent read 120 since 99? but all in a nut shell thats why whites are drawn to the clan

Aye, its just some artists that at their shows its a lotta white people and not a lotta blacks. With these dudes I dont think blacks have a problem with them but their music aint what black people wanna go out and spend to see lik that. Plus they dont have new hits. Black people like to go out and party to music that promotes havin a good time. And new hits. Dont catch feelings just my interpretation.

lol at the demographic numbers, not true. That would mean white people are the majority at every concert. U will NOT find majority white fans in a Roots or Goodie Mob concert and a few others im sure. I know this to be fact because Ive been to both after they were already super popular.

Wu-Tang is a movement in itself. Their shit goes beyond music, they have their own little army on top of making dope music. I have this funny ass white dude whos bi polar as a friend and dude is the biggest Wu-Tang fan I know, that nigga still hits me up to see if Im checking out for this affiliate and that affiliate. Im like damn nigga I aint even know that nigga was still rappin. They are the exception to the rule imo cause they are literally world wide. Now when there are more whites at Dead Prez's concerts, that shit is baffling lol
