This is understood, but this is also a situation created by impoverished conditions.
I'm not saying Black folks have no culpability, but I am saying is that all this inner finger pointing is bullshit and taking away from the historical context. 50-60 years ago that's all we had were our stores and businesses because Blacks were often cordoned into their own neighborhoods and had to make it do or die.
The type of Black folks people make reference to now is a post crack bomb generation.
Black folks owned stores 20-30 years ago in these same neighborhoods where these arab and asian stores stand. So what happened? What is happening? How do we get in front of it?
