The act of thinking for yourself isn't always based on trying to test something. What make it possible for anyone to think...period (and I don't mean in respect to having a brain)? What liberty do we have in deciding whether or not we can or not think? You're obsessed with this evidence thing. It's almost as if to say...the evidence, when shown, will explain itself; that it is a deity in itself. The evidence is still subjected to what we perceive it to be.
