The United States was wining in Vietnam but they lost Public opinion. North Korea was also loosing the war until China entered it. Still SK was secured which was the point of the war. NK hasn't fought a war in 50 years and we've been fucking people up all over the world since then. The public would get behind a War with NK and gloves will come off unlike the tip toeing done to appease civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan. I don't think China would support them either. Regardless. another way to look at it is probably this: IF a war with NK occurs, it'll be in a circumstance where China has already said "fuck 'em" as far as NK is concerned. China is what keeps NK fed and protected and that's why NK's playing with fire when they disrespect China.
