Will Jay ever make an album with the level of impact as MMLP?

so what impact did it have that compares to the Chronic bruh?
white boys been wearing Du rags... lol...

Have millions of people discussing the music?
Have the critics constantly bringing the album up saying how great it is?
Have politicians trying to take the music off the shelves?
Influence people to copy your style?

How's that?

MMLP caused controversy for the time it came out due to the lyrics but after all the hype cleared no artist at this time is citing that album as a influence into their career. Hell no one is even emulating his style to create their own (not even the so-called next white eminems). I can name many rappers who cite Jay z as being a blueprint to the way they rap and even inspiring them to become rappers.

I ain't never seen another rapper copy Eminem the way T.I. and Lil Wayne so openly copied Jay-Z. Not even those houseniggas signed at Shady Plantation did that.

Tyler the Creator...

I dont think he means just the music. I think he means the everyday lives of people.

But I see where you going with this. Jay certainly inspired weezy and kanye. Do you think he fathered "swag" too?

lol the idea of "swag" no

a certain style..yeah

You probably don't listen to him if you think that.

I do.

He raps like the Slim Shady LP was his favorite album growing up.

Thats what it sounds like to me. idk, to each his own

11 years in and all he did was sell alot of records to alot of white kids. Hasn't influenced one artist worth naming. Even his caucasion publications have to set idiotic stipulations like twitter followers and youtube views to help him rise to the top because off catalog alone he nowhere to be found. Got embarrassed by ja,krino, canabis. I give him Moby and Christina Aguilera. He won those "battles". Straight up waste of space in rap.

MMLP did impact pop culture in a way that no jay album ever has or likely ever will, but by other markers jigga is on par with blueprint

And as I've said before and I'll surely have to say again, while jigga was big pimping and nas was pretending to be a prophet em was on the front lines of the free speech battlefield taking on all the haters that have been trying to take down hip hop music and culture since the beginning.
