We may not be however that doesn't mean we aren't the most intelligent. If There is life elsewhere it's not capable of coming here and it's probably not smarter than the animals we have right here on earth.
While I do think the chance of alien is highly likely, one opinion of no aliens is that the universe is too violent for life to exist for long.
Also, everything we know we know as humans. Yet, there's a chance the physics of our universe may significantly differ from that of alien life. Our norms could be fatal extremes to them and theirs to us. So it could simply, they can't come here.

All the orbs of light that people have photographed and recorded are spiritual beings! I've seen them myself on numerous occasions. Manifesting themselves as an orb of light in the sky and then zooming off in a blink of an eye. This phenomenon has been seen and recorded throughout the ages!
But the aliens that most people think about because of Hollywood do not exist! They do not have flesh and bones. They are immaterial beings who if seen up close and personal would terrify you so much that you would drop down as if you were dead upon seeing them in their spiritual manifestation!

God can't mix with sin. Our flesh would be destroyed the moment His face would be seen for He is a consuming fire. That is why flesh and blood can not inherit the kingdom of God. We must be born again. So that when we do see Him we will be able to live in His sight.
In the Bible Every time a supernatural being was seen by a human in its spiritual form, humans drop down as if they were dead. An up close and personal encounter with an angel in its true form would be sheer terror!!! How much more the Creator of all things seen and unseen?
